Food For This Ramzan
Ramadan calls for two types of meals, Iftar after sunset and Suhoor before sunrise. Iftar includes dates and snacks, whereas Suhoor includes healthy foods that provide energy during the day. This post today talks about the power-packed foods we can eat during Ramzan to stay healthy.

1. Dates And Milk

Muhammad (SAW) used to enjoy dates and milk during Ramzan. At Sehri (Suhur), he would eat one small bowl of milk with some dates. Dates contain a lot of energy, as well as various vitamins, including A1, B1, B2, B3, and B5. Milk contains vitamins A, D, E, and K for a balanced diet. Fresh curd can also be eaten!
2. Fresh Fruits
Different types of vitamins and minerals are found in fruits. Besides being high in protein, they are also extremely high in energy. You can eat bananas, apples, Watermelon, dates, guava, and mango during Ramzan. Since I eat bananas a lot, I am always energized for a long time. There are almost no restrictions on what kinds of fruit you can eat!

3. Pakoras
Pakoras are available in many varieties in the Ramzan menu, including Potato, Onion, Green Chili, Spinach, Cauliflower, etc. In the rainy season, we love eating pakoras, but in Ramzan, they hold a different traditional value.
4. Chana
There is also Chane (groundnuts), which also holds great value in the menu. You can find them in many varieties such as Black Chane, Kabuli Chane, Chane ki Dal, and others. It is a healthy snack that’s spicy and sour and sometimes fried with onions, tomatoes, and spices.

5. Sharbat
This is my favorite of all. When you fast you obviously feel thirsty and tired because of the hot summers. One of the drinks you crave during Iftar is sharbat. It’s called Rooh Afza, and I’m sure you’ve tried it at least once. Dissolve some sugar and water in Rooh Afza to make this drink. The drink is served chilled. In addition, you can make lemonade with lemons, sugar, and cold water. Sharbat is essential for ending the fast, especially!
These are the foods I eat during Ramzan, and they provide me energy the whole day! What are yours?
