When we consume many redefined sugar and products containing sugar with very little protein and vitamins, our blood sugar level increases, and the pancreas frantically overcompensates with insulin release.

At times overcompensation of insulin may cause insulin resistance, and finally, you get affected by Type 2 Diabetes. You can count down the insulin resistance and maintain blood sugar levels naturally by healthy diets and exercises.

Include Exercise in your daily timetable

Exercise is the best option to lower down the blood sugar level and stress. When you exercise, the muscles use more glucose. Regular workouts, exercises, walking, cycling & aerobics can lead to lower your blood sugar level. You can also include indoor activities and yoga in your daily routine. There are many yoga & exercises that can increase incline production, which can directly counter down the blood sugar level. If you live in metro cities like Delhi NCR, it will be easy for you to join yoga classes or call a yoga instructor at home for proper and better results.

Add fiber to your daily meal

Fiber helps a lot in reducing the blood sugar level. Fruits with edible skins like Apple can be the best option for increasing fiber levels in the body. An apple a day can keep you away from doctors.

Fiber-rich fruits and vegetables are:- Apples, oranges, strawberries, bananas,  carrots, beets, broccoli, etc.

Eat protein to balance blood sugar

Protein helps pull sugar into the cells to lower down the blood sugar, and the body uses this sugar for energy. Try to take protein in breakfast as this will work better and count down the release of stress hormones. Try to include protein into each meal for better control of blood sugar.

Do not take heavy meal or dinner

Eating many times after 3-4 hours can be a better option to cut down the sugar spike in blood. Having a heavy lunch in the noon can increase the blood sugar. It would be best if you avoid heavy dinner at night. Walking for a minimum of half an hour before going to bed will help you control your sugar level.
